Here's how I use the Johnny.Decimal system to manage my passwords. And how I went from an unsorted list of 1,700 (!) items collected over 15+ years, to a nice neat place that helps me feel organised, and will help anyone else if they need to access my system in an emergency.

I use 1Password but these same techniques will work in any decent password manager.
